Description

The passage of Hurricane Odile inflicted serious damages to the Los Cabos Fiesta Americana Grand Hotel in guest rooms, administrative buildings, lobby and restaurants. The corporate offices of Grupo Posadas in Mexico City hired Gran Vision to support in the cleaning and removal of debris caused by the hurricane. Within four days after the passage of the hurricane, Gran Vision had a team of over 300 people working on site. After the removal of debris was completed, Gran Vision was then hired to reconstruct the lobby area and one of the main restaurants as well as the restoration and remodeling of 140 guest rooms. The work was completed in only 3 weeks accomplishing the objective of the hotel. Fiesta Americana was one of the very few hotels with major damages that was able to resume operations in such a short time.
